Whether you're working on a hangover, sitting down to brunch, or relaxing by the pool or in your cabana, the perfect bloody mary always refreshes the body and spirit. And not only on Sundays.

1. Start with 6 ice cubes in a martini shaker

2. Pour in one and a half ounces of vodka (kept in the freezer)

3. Add 3 ounces of V-8 juice

4. Add a squeeze of lemon and a squeeze of lime

5. Add a half spoonful of olive juice

6. Add 5 drops of Worcestershire

7. Add 3 drops of Tabasco

8. Grind in a bit of pepper

9. Shake for 15 seconds

10. Pour and garnish with 2 large stuffed olives

11. Repeat until mid-afternoon, then switch to white wine or gin for cocktail hour
